We are making the necessary steps to ensure that our mission, "Significantly Improving Children, Labor, Church and Communities," will be brought to fruition. We are renewing the alliances with our youth, church groups, community associations, business and corporate leaders, and local and state politicians. Our goal is to stabilize partnerships with the Branch, thereby strengthening and expanding the services that we are providing to our community.

Committees

The Baltimore Branch has developed several committees to help educate the community and empower citizens to open up their own doors of opportunity. Those committees include the Education Committee, which has the primary goal of eliminating segregation and other discriminatory practices in the educational arena. This committee also strives to improve overall learning conditions in the various school systems. The Labor and Industry Committee's primary goal is to make conditions in the workplace more equitable for all races. The Economic Development Committee focuses its attention on the promotion of entrepreneurship and increased employment opportunities. The Housing Committee facilitates the distribution of information necessary to educate citizens about the home buying process and the various opportunities that exist.
